The fourth assignment in South Africa for Ericsson. This time to shoot Annual Report and life style pics for their Image Bank. We spent three weeks shooting different styles like office, surfing, climbing, shopping and more, using more than 40 models. Cape Town is perfect for this type of photography with all kinds of settings just within two hours drive from town. As I have done several times before, I engaged Xander Ferreira to assist me. As you can see, it is all about communication.

Lidingöloppet 2008

The world´s biggest cross-country race with almost 35 000 participants over 3 days, takes place on the island Lidingö just outside Stockholm the last weekend of September. The first race took place in 1965 and since then, the number of runners has exploded. They now come from all over the world to race in the 30 km long main event on the trails around the island. I got a free role on the midfield to take my pictures as I liked.

Odd Adventures

Ever since I was a kid, I had a fascination for the ”Wild West”. I have been horse-riding every now and then since my teens but never really got hooked on it. Not until my long time friend and writing collegue, Cenneth Sparby, eventually asked me to come riding with Rickard Öhman at Odd Adventures in Älvsbyn to shoot for Mondo, a Finnish travel magazine. But shooting from a horseback is not so easy. Horses do not want to be separated from their herd so it took a while before we understood each other, my horse and me. I have never thought riding and skiing had anything in common, but galloping between the trees in the forests of Sweden´s North, was not unlike skiing the trees in the Alps. Next time I will go there during winter.
